...Afghanistan"? Why can't Obama bring us peace, love and harmony, as well as financial prosperity as he promised? Is this yet another OBAMA FAILURE?
 
Good, I don't want peace and harmony.

Last thing we need is a bunch of people goose-stepping and nodding in agreement with everything the President does, like the neocons did with Bush.

That is why the GOP lost badly in the last 2 elections.
 
because he knows nothing and won:t admit it. He is trying to lead the military when he doesn;t know anything about it. he now is keeping muzzles on the top generals. everyone in afghanistan knows he really doesn:t give a crap about the war. he is just interested in the money the drugs can bring in. the hell with the men.of course this is another failure. he fails at everything. a total loser.
and are we still talking about his promises? I think we learned from the start his promises doesn;t mean anything.Just empty words.

By that logic Bush was a genius.

He cannot bring us peace. He is a wimp.
 
Obama is going to be criticized on Afghanistan, but HE needs to make a decision. I have said all along it is a very difficult decision, but I would give the generals the troops. The problem is, although it would make sense for him to think it out, it makes us look weak and confused. I say we are already in the war, backing out will make us look weak, and just because we send extra troops doesn't mean we can't bring them home later. I think McCrystal has a strategy, and we should give him a chance to win the war.

Once you get into a war, you need to try to win it, and this certainly isn't vietnam. The numbers are nowhere close. I think we should support McCrystal and give him what he asked for.
 
Its been 10 months!! Stop believing everything you read from a newspaper. They have to report stories everyday, even if there is nothing worth reporting. They will make shit up in order to make a headline, or a deadline.
 
simple. He made a bunch of promises that he can't keep in order to get elected. I don't personally blame him, most politicians do that. I do blame the American voters for not taking the time to ask how he planned on working these miracles. It was extremely naive for them to believe the promises in the first place.
