What do you think of the swingers lifestyle?

I am bi sexual and my boyfriend and I have been together for 6yrs now. We are full fledged swingers and I love the lifestyle. It is nice because I love him and I love the son we created, but I am human and I just cant have sex with one person for the rest of my life. Anyways.. I was just wondering what everyone else thought of it.. 10Pt's to the most thought about answer.. even if its opposite of what I think.
Yes I love my life and it was alittle awkard at first. But both my husband and I love it and of course we have our own set of rules that are discussed before anything begins. Everyone has different rules because some people are full swingers, some only soft core stuff is what they are willing to let there partners do. We go to parties and host our own and we also have a close nit group where we will just invite one couple over for the night. it varies and oh yes... we ALWAYS use protection.. safty first!!
 
I think the swingers lifestyle is great. people who are committed to one person for the rest of their lives are slaves of society... it's certainly not what they TRULY want, but just because society says its right, that's what they do... you are living your life to the fullest, which i approve of!!! so don't worry what other people say, once you die, you die.. you only get one life, live it to the fullest! forget the rules of society!
 
To be honest, there's really nothing wrong with the lifestyle if both partners are in agreement with it. I, however, wouldn't be able to be anything other than monogamous with a woman I loved. For me, it would be comforting knowing that my best friend and most intimate lover was a person I could see each and every day. The 'swinger' lifestyle seems to be just casual sex with meaningless strangers. I believe sex is something that shouldn't be casual or meaningless, but a symbiosis of two people deeply in love.

I don't know I think its a little odd. To me it feels like cheating on the other person but if you guys like that lifestyle then more power to you. Just be careful and always use protection.
 
I have enjoyed the swinging life. The clubs are great to go to. Most are set up with a multipurpose room, Bar , pool tables , dance floor tables just like a bar. The other room that has sofas and other neat things. A good place talk and play games. Then the playrooms. They very with diffident things in them. I have seen some great love making their. Couples that go there are true to teach other very much in love and full trust in each other. Rules are strict. Not inforst buy the owners but by the people that go to the club.It is not just walk in and take of your cloths and get to it. It is good clean place to share love with others.
 
Ive always wanted to try it but never had the guts to go through with it.
I'm sure it would be a little strange at first.. But I'm sure it would be an awesome experience.I love sex too and can never get enough of it also. so do u go to clubs or do you just have a couple that you regular visit?
 
it's not something i have any interest in at all. i'm a very jealous person, and i wouldn't be able to share my girl with anyone else. i did date someone who wanted to swing and we broke up because of it. but i have no hard feelings towards her, we discovered we had different interests and so there wasn't a basis for a relationship.

but if people have thought it out, and discussed it, and safely want to live that "lifestyle", well hey good for them! they know what makes them happy and they're doing it. i think it's good when people know what makes them happy and find another person (or other people) who can share in their happiness.
