What do you think of the name Chevy Cruz?

My sister in law is naming her soon to be son Chevy Cruz ( first and middle).

It's a little weird right? Especially since they already have a cat names Chevy?

This is a her first child and shes kinda older so do you think the cat was like her baby and she named it after what she would name her child?Or do you think they are naming the baby after the cat?

Im just surprised my husbands family is so accepting of it because when I names my daughter Christina they scoffed at it and told me what a horrible name it was.
 
its kind of wierd, but it sounds kind of cool too. she probably has always liked the name chevy, and the cat came first, so the cat got the name. you should encourage them to call the baby chevy jr.
 
Do they also drive a Chevy? It could get really confusing when they all get ready to go out for a drive..."Chevy, Chevy, get in the Chevy!"
 
I don't like it!!! Yeah, the kid is going to get confused about the cat being named the same too- I think it's because her cat was her baby- just still, it's really weird! I don't get it. But hey, it's not our kid to name.
 
No offense but that name will be made fun of. If your not sure about it then dont use it.
 
That name either sounds like:

1. A pornstar
2. There has been a nuclear war and 100 years later our surviving humans with no knowledge of our society saw a billboard and named their kid chevy cruz ford lincoln mercury audi McAston Martin
