What do you think of the E61

Pepsi Man: Sveasoft only has hacked ROMs for ASUS, Belkin, Buffalotech, and Linksys wireless routers. However, you might be able to locate another ROM-modifier to crank up the WiFi power on your router or even add antennas to extend range. But, since you think 50 feet is good, no need for all that. The E61 has a decent WiFi unit. Cheers, Sabesh.
 
The router is on a floor that no matter where iam in the house im not very far from it. I'm either dirtectly below it or just above and over. I guess when i get the phone I will see how far I can go in the house.
 
Thats why I made this thread. I've read reviews on it and they all underate it then again they underate all phones..It's better to hear from a person who actually uses it and is your average person.
 
Well seeing as you been hunting for one what the cheapest one you have come across that is not finland. Im looking to get one in a bout 3 weeks and I've been what you could say window shoping for the bet price.
 
the wifi works great on mine, it can even see the neighbors networks that my laptop can barely pick up. it seems to handle multiple access points very well too. i have 2 linksys 54g routers running the dd-wrt thing and i can move between them with no problems at all. some wifi things get messed up when you move to another ap on the same network but it isn't a problem for me.
 
i m not really looking for the cheapest one, i need one that is made in finland, among other things. I m not depserate anyway seeing that i do have the n73/80ie proto/93 with me
 
For me the wifi works great with my home network and others. Took seconds to set up.
It cuts out on occasion, but -- I think that's because wifi, unlike the phone cell towers, is actually affected more by closed doors and physical barriers, and it's not as good when i try to use it with my bedroom door shut (the router is behind that door). Otherwise no problems.
 
Would make sense as the output isnt a strong. Same with bluetooth. If you got a straight line your ok but if its got to through walls and doors and gets week.
