It is about a 14 year old girl who falls in love with a 38 years old man, and she gets pregnant by him, and then they get in legal trouble because her dad and best friend turn on her...
Here it is:
24 Years Apart
What should I do? I asked myself. I am at the Moon Club. In case you are wondering, it is a place kids come to hang out. Oh, By the way I’m 14. I’ve been here millions of times. The owner is very nice and I know him extremely well because of my constant visits. His name is Michael Cullen. He is 38 years old and has very dark brown (black looking) curly hair and amazing chocolate brown eyes. Well anyways…
I looked around for something to do. I looked at Michael and his gaze met mine. For a few seconds neither of us said or did anything. Then he suddenly said “Amber come here I want to show you something.” Obeying him I walked over. He placed one hand on my shoulder, and said “It’s this way.” He gestured with his other hand. He brought me down a long corridor. It was for employees only and it was dark! We stopped at the very end and he pulled back a yellow curtain that said “Michael” on it in silver sparkly letters. Behind it was a door. It looked like the usual… wooden with a round, golden doorknob.
He took out a key and unlocked the door. All I could say is “Wow!” There was a small kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, and a bedroom. The only thing in the bedroom was a bureau and a bed, though. “Do you like it?” He asked. “It’s my personal little place.” “Yeah, I love it! It’s so cool!” I replied. “But why did you show it to me?” “Because you come here a lot, I know you very well, and you’re a friend.” He said. I didn’t know what to say. “Oh, thanks. So what do you want to do now?” I asked. “I know exactly what I want to do.” He smiled.
I was too distracted by his perfect, straight, white teeth and smile to realize how mischievous he looked. “What do you want to do?” I teased playfully. He didn’t’ say anything. He leaned against the wall, took my hand and pulled me towards him. He leaned me onto his chest. I rested my head on it. He put his arms around my waist and folded them together on top of my stomach. I placed my hands on top of his. I couldn’t help but notice how muscular he was. (This probably sounds really bad but, I’ve had a crush on him for two years. I’ve know him for 4 years.) I looked up at him and he was completely serious about this. He was definitely not joking.
The knock on the door startled me. Michael wriggled out of the position we were in. He walked towards the door, turned to me and said “Sorry Amber, But I kind of have to get the door.” “It’s okay.” I smiled at him. I was surprised to see it was my parents. My dad said “we’re here to pick up Amber and they told us he was with you…” He trailed off. “Yeah, she’s with in here with me.” He said. “Amber your parents are here.” I walked out of the door and said “Bye Michael” With a smile. He rolled his eyes playfully. “Bye Amber.” He said.
As we walked out to the car my dad gave me a look, and not a good one. “We need to have a serious talk.” He said. Oh, god, I thought. I looked over at my mum. She smiled reluctantly and looked away. We all climbed into the car, and I slammed the door shut. It’s going to be a long car ride and I knew it. “Do you know how old Michael is?” My dad asked. Pretending nothing is wrong I say, “Of course I do. He’s 38.” “That means he’s 24 years older than you.” He said. “Thanks for informing me.” I said sarcastically. “He’s too old. I don’t want you hanging around with him.” “Why not?” I argued. “Because what if he…” My dad didn’t finish the sentence. I have to admit my dad did have a point… here. I said “Dad, he wouldn’t…” The car grew silent for about five minutes. Then my dad said “So, why where you in there? And what where you two doing?” “He wanted to show me his room.” I said. I knew I had to lie for the next question. “We were just talking… about how he opened the Moon Club.” “Whatever. Just promise me you won’t hang out with him.” He said. “Can’t make any promises.” I smiled. He sighed and the rest of the car ride home was silent.
I walked directly upstairs, and to my room when I got home. I probably looked really pissed off because half way down the hallway my brother, Jay, stops and asks what’s wrong. I told him the whole thing. (Well… just not the part when Michael held me in his arms…) Then Jay teased “Do you like him?” I sighed and said “Yeah. Yeah, I do.” You should have seen the look on his face! “What?” He screams. Then I quickly said “Your 17, so you’re older than me, and I know how older brothers feel about protecting their little sisters, but promise me you won’t tell… anyone. I want to tell mum soon though.” I knew what his answer would be. He said “Okay, I won’t tell anyone, but I swear I’m going to kill that Michael guy if he does anything to you!” “Now Jay, don’t be so ju
