What do you think of the 2007 Mazda 3 or 2007 Honda Civic for a 16 year old girl?

The Mazda 3 is a very nice car. Your friend is a schmuck for being uneducated. The Mazda 3 is one of the highest rated & most reliable cars being made today. Point that out to him when his car breaks down, if he has one.
 
Civic is for those who are in their 30s and are concerned about "hurting" the environment. Get the Mazda, it's quick, easy to park, looks great, and gets great gas mileage.
