What do you think of the 1988-1990 Kawasaki zx10 Tomcat motorcycle? Is it too heavy?

I'd like to get a bike thats got character, has power, looks good and different from the bikes out there today. Power isn't an issue, but good handling, the ability to steer in the wet or keep the bike up or leaned over without dropping it is a concern partly due to the fact it ways in around 260kg's dry. Add 20kg's fuel and add 100kg's for me with 1,86m height and Id like to know nearly 400kg's of bike is not maybe a bit too much? I'm currently riding a 1992 Ninja 500s around 60bhp/54bhp rear wheel around 5kg/bhp. The Tomcat would be 2.8kg/bhp with 137bhp. However I don't where I stand with center of gravity and the fact that the fuel sloshes about inside the fuel tank, as it doesn't have baffles insides to stop the fuel sloshing side to side. I'm a 'cool' rider. I do enjoy a nice burst of acceleration now and again. I'm not agressive through curves but I like accelerating hard out of them. Is the Tomcat what I'm really looking for, can I live with it, am I looking at the wrong bike????????

Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom.

Brgds
