Old knowledge becomes new ignorance.

It started with the metric system & ever since it seems like anything I might have ever remembered from school is gradually being replaced.

Lets have one thumb down for however many planets in our solar system you think there are.

Do you think they planet this way?
 
Oh, would you like to swing on a
Star...
And think you're better off than you
Are...

For Pluto had verily been
Voted...
Decibels of applause! Been
Demoted...

A moon...
Of a planet not a planet?

Maybe a bit sad that Pluto got demoted, but that is what the International Astronomical Union had voted. But I no longer fret the the choice of the vote because something great had happened to this far off little abode. Seems now it has the distinction to be the first object to be discovered in a whole new class; it is the first of the Kuiper Belt objects to ever be found...its very own distinction at last.

Get over Pluto! What did he ever do for you? Just another name to memorize for the science quiz! lol Besides Disney probably has a copyright on him anyway! GM to you.
 
Nothing is more precarious than Human opinion. Pluto will still be there long after our little judgments have dissolved back into dust.
 
Elys i have spent most of my life looking at stars , dreaming, collecting moonbeams, it is a great recipe for total happiness. I can thoroughly recommend it to all who will listen. Join the throng.
