Even as we are apart,
Our flowers still bloom,
With your non-beating heart,
We will be reunited soon.

Such an unpredictable fate,
The years all flashed by,
The months and the dates,
Making my beautiful petals cry.

Drowning my sorrows,
In the teardrops of rain,
Taking away my one true love,
Never to be reunited again.

I love your poetry! I am a poet too! Do you like my poem? I wrote it about my sister, Amber, who died by a drunk driver. :(

Amber :(

Oh, if I could meet her,
How joyful I would be.
To have my own sister,
Standing next to me.
To tell her,
“I love you.”
And to have her
Tell it to me too!

I wonder what it would be like,
To feel her warm embrace.
And to touch her with my finger,
And see her shining face.
But my sister is with Jesus,
And she is very glad,
Although my parents and I,
May still be very sad.

But I know that one day soon,
We will all be with her too.
And I will hug my sister,
And say, “I love you!”
