This is my poem about a poem
I wrote it while thinking of Rome
Which is a city
In Italy
You will notice in time
That all of my lines rhyme
This is how you know it's a poem, in fact
That is how poems are supposed to act
If you just saw non-rhyming words
You'd think you were reading a story, absurd
Everyone likes poems, about different things
And sometimes you just have to sing
The praises of poems, big and small
And I think that that will be all
I Am The Walrus - You're Wrong. Poems do have to rhyme otherwise you don't know you're reading a poem, then it just becomes some poorly arranged prose without rhyme
