I'm writing a novel, you may not understand what's going on at the moment because you would have to read past chapters, but basically this kid with amnesia has just woken up from his first nightmare. I'll be writing more to chapter 14 but this is all I have so far.
Chapter 14:
When Ryan awoke from his sleep he shivered in fear. The boy’s heart was racing to what seemed to be the speed of light. Ryan did not understand the dream, nor did he recognize who the mysterious man and woman were, he just knew the place was dangerous. The dream seemed so real just thinking about it gave Ryan Goosebumps. The pleasant room from the outside looking in, felt more like a slaughterhouse for the people living inside.
Ryan lay in his bed, although he was no longer sleeping he was afraid to get out. The child feared that if he even stepped 1 foot out onto the guest rooms floor something horrendous would jump out from under his bed pulling him down into the pits of hell. Sweat poured down Ryan’s face as he trembled frantically in his bed. He wanted to call out to Jennifer in the other room but his voice was too dry in week to make a sound. This was the first time Ryan had ever had a dream since his amnesia, he cannot understand what a dream was and what he had experienced was only a nightmare. The horror that was suppressed in his mind was over. Ryan then curled himself into a ball and rolled the beds comforters over his head. It was probably one of the most traumatic and frightening experiences Ryan had since arriving at the Williams.
