This is my beginner and budget audio system, what do you think?

I have a Profile AP740 700 watt amp: http://www.profileusa.com/products_amps_ap.cfm

With a Rockford Fosgate P1 12" Subwoofer in a truck box bridged to 180 watts from the amplifier: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Rockford+Fosgate+-+Punch+12%22+Single-Voice-Coil+4-Ohm+Subwoofer/8265717.p?id=1170289779897&skuId=8265717

In the doors are four 2-Way Pioneer 5 1/4 speakers:

All wired up to a hand me down Pioneer deh-p680mp(no longer sold):http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/In-Dash/CD-Players/DEH-P680MP

everything looks good, just be sure that no matter how little space you have behind the seat of your car you maintain the amount of cu. ft. needed for your subwoofer. in the manual it should let you know how many ft you need to produce how many hz. if you listen to rock its smart to keep your hz higher and if you listen to rap more keep them lower. also be sure you adjust your high and low pass filters or you could blow your door speakers if they try to put out to much bass. i find it sounds WAY cleaner if you keep the bass in the sub and the highs in the door speakers anyways.

hope it helps looks pretty good for starters anyways
