In my opinion, I think it's working!
He's showing a lot of toughness now. He brawls more & he's improving his ground game. I like the fact that he's using his running knee strike as an alternative finisher now. It reminds me of the "Shining Wizard" a little.
He looked very good in his matches against Shaemus, he had an excellent match against Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) last month...hell, he's been having decent & good matches against everyone he gets in the ring with lately. Also, WWE seems to be on the verge of booking him for a World Title run in the near future.
