What Do You Think of Jeep Wranglers?

I'm hunting for a new car and I've always wanted a Jeep Wrangler. I do not know much about them or know of anyone who had one.

What are your experiences with them? Are they high maintenance to fix? What about the mpg?

I'm not gonna go off roading too much but would like a sturdy vehicle. I do live in ice and snow so wannna know how they handle icy roads.

bad car. for the gas mileage and problems jeeps tend to have your better off getting a small truck like a ranger or canyon with 4wd
