What do you think of babyfications?

Muppet Babies was brilliant (and, at the time, actually original), Pup was generally pretty good, and T&J had its moments... the rest were pretty much solid crap.

Heh.

I tend to consider babyfications to be non-canon, simply because they contradict so many details in primary canon. Trying to shoehorn them into a canon only causes so many headaches.

Well, while I love and enjoy Muppet Babies and A Pup Named Scooby Doo, other "babyfications" I generally avoid. They even made a kid version for Archie comics characters with "The New Archies." I think creators do things like this when they're all out of ideas, or want to cash in on the popularity (I read somewhere that Muppet Babies pretty much started the "icons as babies" trend) - and if they have to, they really need to get the right team behind it, otherwise you'll have people shaking their heads, wondering why they bothered.

I totally forgot about The New Archies. All I remember from that show were the theme song and the bad haircuts.

Yeah, I know Pebbles and Bamm Bamm wasn't a babyfication. I was saying that I previously liked both "babyfications'" and shows where characters were aged but I had no idea what term was used for those.
