What do you think of a 2006-2007 Pontiac Vibe?

I have a VW bug that is a money pit. I wanted to buy an American car that looks like a Vibe, but I cannot find one. I know they are made by Toyota,but are they good? And can I get them fixed at the corner gastation? The VW has to go to "special places" that work on German cars. I need your input. Thanks
 
Yeah, the Vibe is a Toyota Matrix & either Pontiac or Toyota can work on them. Consumer Reports thinks highly of them. If you can find one that is decent used, get it.
