i have a 2006 Kawasaki 750i. Well we have had it about a year now bought it used from someone. well last weekend at the deer lease it just died. we didn't know what happened to it we still have waranty but when we took it to the shop they say it's most likley not going to be covered. this is what happened
it ran out of oil. blew a rod and needs to be rebuilt. we check the oil regularly so its not like we neglect it. well what i am getting at is this the oil light never came on saying it was low would that be a DEFECT with Kawasaki? if the warranty doesn't cover it we are looking at $2000-$4000 out of pocket. i am trying to find a way to make the warranty cover it. please help. after seeing we didn't have oil my hubby added some to it and they are now telling us that the oil was to dirty and thats what made the rod break. and it is our fault that it's broke thats what warranty isn't covering it. please help. what do i do now.
