What do you think is the best striking martial art for MMA?

Personally I believe that the best striking style for MMA is to combine Muay Thai with Boxing. You'll have similar punches to a Boxer, and similar... everything else that's on the feet to a Thai fighter. This is my personal opinion so you definitely don't have to agree with it, and it's what I mainly focus on for striking part of my MMA game. I used to also incorporate Kyokushin karate, but I stopped that and went to the Boxing and Muay Thai. But I do know the basics of Kyokushin, so I'm not clueless when I'm sparring with a karate guy.

At first I only did Muay Thai, but then I incorporated a lot of boxing, so now I can hold my own when I'm working on my hands against boxers.

I wanted to hear what other people think.

Added note: As far as the ground game goes, I think the best thing to do is Greco Roman Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I think most of us can agree on that.
