Summary: The Protect is a secretly government funded agency that is required to “protect” the United States. The headquarters for the Protect is located in Chicago, Illinois. The Connor family has been put in charge of the organization. Evan Clay was apart of the Protect until he had failed to kill a target that was very lethal. His original name is Daniel J. Walker, but since he was unsuccessful in his mission instead of him being killed, he was beaten until he couldn’t remember who he was. The Protect gave him a new identity known as Evan Clay.
“He has a federal file on everyone involved in the U.S. government… the President, the Vice President, the Secretary of State, all the way down to a damn Social Services agent. He even has file on everyone worker in the Protect. Why or how you may ask? Well someone even through the tough security of Uncle Sam he was still able to find out we are secretly being funded by the government.”

I sat looking at my poker hand in pure amazement. I had two aces and the board was in my favor. “So who’s got the hand?” I said as I glanced over at Joe rubbing his chin and slightly going through his short brittle, black hair. I could expect nothing less from Joe than to bluff his ass off. Before Joe was well known as a profound killer—I mean a “protector” of the United States he was known for his good poker skills. Or should I say good bluffing skills. He would win hundreds of thousands of dollars on bluffing alone. I guess that’s why he was practically band from the state of Nevada.
