Your deep blue eyes,
They triggered a vein,
Within the layers of her breaking heart.
Her anger at the world, her confusion and frustration,
Seemed to wash away at a single smile.
Her lifeless body was lifted,
A body that carried so many secrets,
So many lies,
She was what she used to be.
You were the reason she lived,
When everyday seemed so grey.
Her vision was clear now.
The optimistic views
She had developed,
Ridding her of her indecisive ways,
They brought her a new meaning.
But now, they have disappeared,
Leaving no light left to find,
Just a street of fading darkness,
Like that of yesterday's sunset.
So on this pitch black night,
Listening to the sound of the flowing creek,
Sitting by that same windowsill,
She ponders on the thought,
This depression being her misleading judgement.
Was it her fault?
Or was it his,
The one she had fallen for.
She feels so distant,
The drifting,
She can not stand,
Take her back to where you once were,
And leave this behind, forget.
