I read the Bible
And the computer is on
A voice is saying turn it off
How heedless I tend to be
And rather be tempted, yes even me!
This the devils do watch
To prey and tempt me.
They lead me to the slaughter
That I call the blissful place
And
Where my Savior leads me
Is the cross but from there I go astray.
My eyes continue on and on
Not on the red letters but on my
Idolatrous way.
Than . . .
I see
The time.
And how horrid it looks
For I have to go.
I feel sorry
Yet I do it again.
I try to make poems simple and short to the point. If you don't understand this don't comply; if you do any tips? ty
