health care to ill 9/11 responders? It makes me sick! I see this as oppression. Many of these people have cancer, lung problems, heart problems and can't breath right. Most of which were cops, firemen, paramedics, nurses, ect. They've been forced to dry out their bank accounts, run up credit cards, go bankrupt and get cut off when they can't pay. This bill (law) may not be permanent either if they can't find the funding to keep it going.
You know what is most absurb about this? The majority of Americans still believe it'd be wrong for the government to socialize medicine. If you ask them ''Why does virtually all of the developed world except for us have it?'', they'll say because we aren't evil Socialists and we have our own way of doing things which make us the best. They awkwardly accept it for the elderly (Medicare). Yet not young children. Now many Americans are angry that Obama made a consolation by creating a law that'd make you have to buy affordable health care (which is already a law in Massachusetts). They say it is unconstitutional and those 50 million people (including their children) shouldn't need to pay for health care if they don't want it.
