What do you think about the Suzuki DR-Z400S?

I have an 07 Suzuki DR-Z400S dual sport motorcycle. I've modified the air intake and put an aftermarket exhaust on it, and given what I've done to it it'll haul *** when ya want it to. I still want to put Hot Cam's stage 1 intake and exhaust camshafts in it, along with possibly the DRZ400E's cylinder head gasket for higher compression and an aftermarket 39mm FCR carb on it. With all these mods together it should pull like no other. I just want to know what you think of this model of bike. Whether you like it or not, tell me your opinion! I just want to know what other 400S riders and enthusiasts think about them. And another thing: generally at what mileage or running time do you think they need a rebuild? I know it's one of the widest known and reliable bikes out there, but even so every machine wears out sometime. Mines got 5,500 miles on it. Just curious when I should start thinking about rebuilding it. No time soon anyhow;) Thank you!!!

The DRZ's are good bikes i rode one for motorcycle school a few years ago, i race dirtbikes so it was very similar to one thats why i like it somuch...putting those mods on the bike will help yes and make it sound way SWEET...but i never owned a DRZ, ive always had KTM and you being at 5,500...you have a long way to go till a rebuild unless you dont take care of it, throw some upgrades on it every once in a while and maintain it! mainly change that oil often for me i change it every 5 rides, its simple and takes no time on those sport bikes... it should last you a long time tho
