And whats the meaning? :)


You raised my hopes and trampled my expectations
I waited on you, how could something of such beauty be so painless to surrender
But I let you go, the hassle wasn't worth it, It could only end badly, your not who I thought you were
My vision of you is now blurred and stained
Your chance has gone, We don't belong

I'm guessing it means that you liked someone but
they weren't what you expected and as hard it is
things can't work out between yall.
 
I can totally relate to this person.
They liked or were infatuated with someone only then to realize that they were someone completely different than they thought.
It was easy for them to let go of something that was never really there in the first place and the person realized what was best for them both.
 
The poem is Ok.... sorry to say this, but you aren't very talented in poetry.

And its probably about some jerk who you had a huge crush on, and he probably didnt pay attention to you, or played you/ treated you like crap, so you left hoping he'd realize what he lost (although he probably doesnt give a sh1t)
 
it's good. i think it means that you liked someone, but they weren't the person you thought they were so you're letting go of them.
