She's sees him staring and ignores it to play it safe

His shirt collar is makin' him itch
Just listening to his buddies (talking sh!t) (talk him in to it)
He knows in a couple beers he'll be convinced
But something tells him she deserves better than this,
Because she's brain, she's brawn, she's no compromise
the guys walk slower just to watch her go by
She knows they just wanna get between her thighs
But she loves the attention when she lets them try
In the second paragraph, second line, I can't decide which one of those two phrases to use.
