What do you think about honda engines compared with german engines?

i mean its the biggest engine manufacturer in the world!!!! Many people say that german engines are way better than japanese. I believe that japanese engines have higher technology in there cars before german ones, like the nsx, s2000, hsv 10. And one thing that i like about honda's tech is that they dont use turbocharged engines on ther commercial cars (civic si, accord coupe, s2000 only on the acura rdx), they really don't need to do that instead they use normal compressed engines. am i right????
