What do you think about drug testing for unemployment benefits?

Lawmakers in at least eight states want recipients of food stamps, unemployment benefits or welfare to submit to alcohol and drug testing. Why stop with that? Why not any government assistance, college grants or government loans?
 
i think they should also. we have to get drug tested to work to pay taxes which they recieve, they should get drug tested to get free money. theres probably a good size that wouldn't pass. so than it would just save money.
 
Unemployment benefits are not something the state gives people. Their former employers [aid for it in the form of premiums. Unemployment is a form of insurance, not a form of the dole.
