I am about to get 2 15" Kicker CVRs in their own, separate ported boxes (2 single ported boxes). It may sound wierd, but I have a great offer on two of these subs, but they are in separate boxes - but the boxes are Kicker designed, so what the heck.
Anyway, how loud will these get? I have a 1997 Ford Taurus, so the trunk is sealed off by the back seats. The trunk is quite large though. I don't have Dynamat. The subs are each wired at 4 ohms, sadly not 2 ohms. I hope that is enough information to give you a clue.
Please, if you've heard them somewhere, let me know about them. I am looking for subs that can get very loud. Are they strong enough to only just vibrate the rearview mirror, or are they powerful enough to flex the doors and ceiling of the car.
Any help is appreciated. I haven't ever heard them and I'd like to get an idea before I buy them, thanks.
