Me and my friend are building a gaming computer ourselves and we have a list but we need to know if we have everything.

case, power supply, motherboard, processor, ram, video card, hard drive, CD/DVD drive, Windows. Optional: aftermarket CPU or GPU cooler, extra case fans.

I'd stick with something in this model.
Asus P5Q-P, or Pro. ~$130
E8800/2200 ~80/140.

E2220's OC to around 3.2GHz, the 8800 to 4.4 with better cooling.

And of course, 8800GT can support most shit you throw at it, virtually everything unless you want crysis AA @ 4x.. which is insane, but you may want a 9900GTX or 260GTX..

anyway, $400 or so in total, and 20x as cheap as a crappy ass 'gaming' computer you could buy with lower specs.

Oh yeah, 600-700W power supply, with atleast 20A on the +12v rails.

the most important thing is the CPU and Graphic card and at least 2 to 4 gb of RAM
Intel core 2 duo or AMD dual core and up should due

second of all how are u gonna build it? I hope u know wat ur doing. since ur asking for a list I dont think u have a clue.

Other than the usual keyboard, mouse, tower, motherboard, youll need a hi end processor and video card ....even a hi end soundcard....may invest a little more and get a video card to where you can hook up dual monitors. Helps me when Im gaming and need a quick reference from a forum or game site. Other than that, ur good to go
