I look for asomething that's not quiet the conventional rock riff or bass and drum beat or rhymes something that's a bit off. Maybe the music were to have more than 1 or 2 dimensions to it so I can't get bored of listening to it.

I will look for first the best musician work, music theme, its tunes etc in any music. I am very selective in listening the music.

completely varies for me. At times I love really interesting indie/folk songs, usually go for artists with a bit of a quirky voice or something else really unique. If I'm on an electronic kick then I look for something more pop-sounding with a great track and a mix of musical influences. Right now I'm really into 80's so aside from replaying duran duran I'm looking for new banRAB with a real 80's glam rock sound. There's never one particular thing I'm looking for, I generally just narrow down the vague genre based on my mood at the time and go from there.
