i'm just going to use them for everyday things like youtube, myspace, college work and world of warcraft.

It depnds on what you want to do with them, the first one is a bit better than the second, but if you plan on playing the latest games, it might be slow...

youtube, myspace and college work will be totally fine, world of warcraft will be ok too...
