Yes can you please tell me what kind of resistance do you get when you wire 2 dual ohm subs in parallel? Reason is that i own a amp that is 3000 watts at 2 ohms and 4000 watts at 1ohm?
if you wire 2 dual 1 ohm subs in parallel, you will get .5 ohms. that is if you run the coils in parallel and then the speaker leads going to the amp in parallel. You can run the coils in parallel and then the speakers in series and achieve 1 ohm. At last you can run the voice coils in series and then the speakers in series and get a 4 ohm load.
