What do you do with the mystery eggs in Banjo-Tooie on Xbox Live Arcade?

I got the eggs from the game paks and I figure I'm supposed to have Heggy hatch them but she won't. I looked around on the internet and nothing is giving me a clear answer. Has anyone done this already?
