NOT a chef.? Okay, so I have this girl I'm crazy about coming over to watch New Moon saturday night... I've decided to add the food element to the equation. I have cooked things before (mostly pasta), but I want something that's easy and impressive. Something to spark conversation would be appreciated.

I do Calzone for that sorta thing; to make it easy you just need to buy some pizza dough-y stuff (or make some), buy some filling (chopped tomato, cheese, beef, whatever takes your fancy), put the filling on about half of the dough base, fold it over and seal the sides with your fingers and brush it with some olive oil before it goes in the oven. Oven times vary depending on what you use as filling, though. Google 'calzone recipe' and you should be OK. It's delicious, different and Italian, so it's pretty much guaranteed to spark conversation. Girl: Hey this is good, what is it? You: Oh it's Calzone.
