What Do You Consider A Cruel Joke?

Laughter is so important to our well-being. However, I'm finding some comedians who I once adored and thought were funny...Now, they have changed there humor to making very cruel, disrespectful, hurtful jokes! Why? Once, I loved Chelsea Handler and now she is making cruel remarks about everyone. Quite frankly, I was the one who told so many friends to watch her before when she just made silly family jokes about herself. I'm so embarrassed at the jokes she is using now and I encouraged everyone and their mother to watch her.
David Letterman was never funny so I'm not surprised by his actions. He is downright mean and nasty! I was a Leno fan. He did not humiliate....What do you think?
 
There is so much anger in professional comedy. The entertainment community won the November, 2008 election. I kind of anticipated that the change in circumstances would have brought a funnier, less angry flavor of jokes to professional comedy. On a personal basis, I do not find humor in the bitter flavor of today's humor. Your examples seem to illustrate the point as well as anyone.
 
A cruel joke is something i doesn't make people laugh but makes them angry or hurt. So go from there. If u do cruel jokes then no one want to be around u or like be your friend.
