what do you call the decals on your car that has its model number?

what do you call the car emblem part that has the car series number on it, usually it goes on back by trunk. like Z28 or 328i its like a decal emblem that sticks on side of car door or by trunk ? i need to order a replacement but don't know what they're called ??
