and it looks like your feet are gliding across the floor you know?? what do you call that?

Actually - the Dance Style you might be thinking about is probably:

Foxtrot, or
Waltz,
or maybe even 2 Step . . .

These are progressive Dance Styles - meaning they travel - counterclockwise - around the Dance floor.
