Don't go believing we're all rich and can easily afford a garage of bikes, etc !! I would imagine a lot of bikes have been purchased with loans for a start. Plus, as you may have noticed, some are older guys with grown up kids. Perhaps now divorced, too!!
I know ...... my daughter is now 18 years old and earning her own money. I bought my 1098 from my divorce settlement ... (it was the least he could do)
I wouldn't have been able to afford to buy one outright .... and I'm a lawyer
High maintenance girlfriends/wives/kids will all impact on this hobby, no doubt .... unless you find a bird who has a passion to match yours!
