What do snowboarders carry in their backpacks on the trails?

I always see these snowboarders with backpacks, but I can never figure out what they would need a backpack for on the trails? Somebody help!
 
They carry copious amounts of ganja, and the utensils required for consumption of said ganja.
 
Some carry camel backs that have hydration packs that can be filled with water, gatorade ect. Others actually carry full on backpacks to put screw drivers, wax, Lunch, ipod, money wallets cell phones anything that most people would leave in their cars or put in a locker.
