I would say torturing an animal like a beagle dog or a gibbon ape for hours on end just to get a result is just as morally wrong as aborting a fetus at any stage in the fetal development, since a fetus doesn't feel pain until 22 1/2 weeks into development, and since its not conscious the pain it feels isn't even as significant as a dogs. How do you feel about animal testing? Why not use rapists and murderers instead for medical and cosmetic research?
