...is placed? You get a tooth pulled, get an implant placed...and you go toothless for how many months before they finally put a fake tooth on? In my case, I have a couple of teeth clearly visible to anyone who sees my smile, because those two teeth are in the front. They are right next to each other and need to be pulled and a couple of implants placed at some point. Will I really have to go for months without a tooth there after getting the implant, while waiting on it to heal? That's embarassing...I work in Customer Service/Sales and consult with people one on one. What can be done about this? I've read something about a "flipper"...but when do you get that, and when can you start wearing it? Do you end up paying extra for that? I'm trying to picture how just two teeth would be made to fit into the mouth and actually stay in for the couple of months needed until the implants set.
