Hi 
Me and 2 other friends are seriously considering going camping for about 5 days out in some woods. We are relatively experienced at camping for one or two nights, but we want to be traveling light, and use what we find to accommodate for us more than what we bought with us.
So firstly, what essentials do we need for an extended stay out in a BRITISH WOODLAND?
and also, we were considering not taking tents, and instead constructing our own shelters using tarpaulin between trees etc, would this be appropriate?
