What do I need to know about camping!?

Im about to go camping for the first time...is there any tips that i should know what to do and what not to do?
by the way im male, 15, going with my family (mom, dad and 20 year old brother)
Im going camping for 3 days somewhere near San Diego on a camping ground.

ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED! =D
 
Just know that your there to have fun and don't worry so much. You need to relax on vacation so just have fun.

Don't forget sunscreen (did you know that your more likely to get a sunburn on an overcast day than on a sunny day???) and insect repellent. Also you may need a First Aid Kit.

If your going to a campground there will probably be showers and flushing toilets which I was happy about. I'm going camping with my family on Wednesday and I can't wait!!! It's a lot of fun.
