What do i need to be careful of when buying new rims?

I have a hyundai genesis coupe which comes with 19" rims

do i need to get 19" rims?
i see a lot of rims i like only available in 18" or 20"
i know nothing, please help me out a bit.

Also since i live in canada, i have to change tires in the winter,
can i keep my rims and just switch tires?
will it cost extra?
