What do I look like arguing with my husband on every holiday?

When every holiday comes we never know what we are doing because he doesn't like to plan. My family has a set plan for the most part so I assumed we will go there (xmas, etx). Thanksgiving we been going to his bc we weren't invited to mine the last few. So its New Years, and I do not like his sister in law and brother (they are selfish, too involved in themselves, everything involves tv and who's smarter, has better job, money, etc. And they make rude comments, they're honest with their thoughts at least?) Sooo we argue when we have to go to his families stuff... mind you, we go there 3 or 4 times a week and not to my family on non holidays bc they live down the road. I can't stand being around them two sided people... I was told to leave his sister in law alone by his mom before I ever met her and then she turns around and they r best friends... some jeleously here with the mom .. so everytime we argue about doing things with them, my husband tells his mom... what kind of person does it make me to skip out on his family events? I was never involved in my family bc of my dad and now my husband gets along with everyone and I enjoy being around mine now...will I ever enjoy being around his? They think I am selfish because I go to my events.... confused,ready to crawl in a hole.
