What do I do if my parked car got hit, and the only evidence is witnesses and paint?

I was at my apartment looking at my window. Out front, I saw the car next to mine getting towed. I didn't think anything of it, because cars are always getting towed in my college town.

So this car is getting towed, and I go back to packing. The alarm to a car went off, so I figured is was the car being towed. I thought nothing of it. Later that evening, I saw that my car had been hit on the side - the same side that the car being towed. Also, it was the same color - as was seen by the freaking paint on the side of my car. I pretty much know it was the towing company - and it was a hit and run outside my house. I have 1 witness and a time frame -

What are my next steps. This is a 24 hour a day towing company so they are always at hand. Who do I call? The company? The police? Under the table deals? Help me out please
