What do I do if my Palm Pre will not turn on?

My palm pre shut down and we tried charging it for half an hour and it still will not work. i got it thirteen days ago and my service is verizon. Please help?!
 
well it sounds like you need another battery. or take it back and get another palm pre. gee it's only 13 day's old. they should take it back and replace it.well bye.
