what do i do here in legend of zelda wind waker?

im at the part where im looking for the triforce charts and to get this one i need to help a teacher out but to do that i need to find 4 kids i found 3 of them and i can see the 4th one but hes on a tree and i went up there to get him but i couldnt do nothing what do i do?ive been stuch here for a while now
