The purchase was as seen and you had the opportunity to inspect the stereo before you bought it.
Got to say that is the first time I ever heard of someone even thinking about returning a car as they did not like the stereo - just get the stereo replaced. it will save embarrassment as the dealer will laugh loudly at you if you try to take it back for that reason!!!!

Check the manual and learn how to work the stereo to get the best from it, few people do this, and you should find it sounds pretty good really

I recently bought a 2009 Hyundai Sonata GLS from a dealer that sells former car rentals. I like the car but the stereo absolutely sucks and I am disappointed to the point that I would consider returning the car (today is the last day I can do that). Was the purchase "as is", or could they do something about my stereo for me for free?
