A mother duck laid some eggs under a bush right next to our house and I am concerned that she doesn't really have anything to eat while she is laying on her eggs. I am also concerned that when she does leave her eggs that they are exposed to predators. There are no lakes, ponds, streams and such near our home so I am not sure where she would find food for herself...I really don't know a whole lot about ducks. Is there anything healthy I can leave out for her so that she doesn't have to wander out too far in search for food?
